Dana: Hi, my name is Dana and I’m originally from Arkansas.  I’ve been a gymnastic instructor and coach for 35 years.  I like the fact that you came here and you can train us both at the same time

Why Elect Wellness?

I just felt like I needed some extra, something, because what I was doing was not working because I had gained slowly over the last year about five pounds.  It was menopause or what but I just could not lose that extra weight and no matter how much I worked out or I did, you know, swim classes and row classes and kickboxing classes and changing all the workout stuff just didn’t help so I knew I needed to do something different.

I have a good friend who had trained with you and I saw what you had done with her so I thought, well, I’m going to try that too.  I knew I needed to change to do something else.  I just never have gotten as much out of it as I had heard had gotten out with you and I think mainly because of the nutrition part.  That’s really what I wanted to add to the workout part and I just like the fact that, you know, the tips you give us online and just a little extra care that I feel like we got with you.

Kirk and Dana’s Results After Three Months:

My husband looks great.  I’m so happy for him.  He’s lost 20 pounds and lost 9% body fat and he’s got a little ways to go but I’m just so excited for him and the main thing is that he’s so excited.

In the last few years he started riding his bike which he lost maybe five pounds but I think it was the whole eating and the weight lifting that we needed to add to our exercise plan.

So – and that’s what I liked about working out with you.  You know, you come to the house because I knew he was not going to go to a gym and lift weights.  And I’ve lost about seven pounds which I know that kind of stinks for girls not to lose as much as guys but I have lost inches and my cloths feel so much better and his cloths, oh my goodness, he has a whole new wardrobe now because he can go in his closet, I haven’t worn this in five years and it’s too big actually!

So that’s exciting having, you know, lost inches and being able to fit into some old cloths.

How long have you all been working with us?

Dana: Just under four months.  About three – a little over three and a half months!

One of the Biggest Changes…

Dana: Well one thing that my husband and I both have noticed is we’re not hungry.  I mean, I felt like we ate pretty good before but just having all that protein especially in the morning.  Before I would drink my coffee and maybe a piece of toast or something and then I was starving by ten o’clock and now we’re eating 20 grams of protein for breakfast and I’m not hungry.  I have to like make myself eat the snack at ten or so and I don’t crave sweets like I used to.  I don’t crave the carbs that I used to.

In the afternoon about three or four o’clock I wanted crackers and now I just don’t eat that anymore because I don’t crave it.  And you feel so much better after you’ve eaten right and after you’ve worked out and you just feel better about yourself and just about your life so I just can’t imagine not doing it.

Kirk: 22.68 lbs of fat lost!

Kirk: -8.5% body fat

Kirk: -4 inches around waist

Kirk: Blood pressure down to 115/76

Dana: 8.42 pounds of fat lost!

Dana: – 4.3% body fat

Dana: -3 inches around waist

Dana: Blood pressure down to 118/80
