What our Clients Have to Say About Our Frisco Personal Training

“I have lost nearly 30 pounds in six months with Elect Wellness. The accountability with the nutritionist combined with the personal training has been key to my success. I have struggled and failed so many times before. This time is different because I am not going it alone. I have someone I am accounting to and who is cheering me on every step of the way. It’s been life changing. Worth. Every. Penny.”

– Christi of Frisco, TX

“What a change Elect Wellness has made in my life! My beginning goal was to make my asthma better by increasing my lung capacity. I have lost and kept off 12 lbs by using the nutrition program that Tom, Jamie and Kathryn have shared with me and working out one time per week! The nutritional intake is more like eating good foods that taste good and are good for me. The Elect Wellness team taught me to exchange some of the higher fat, higher calorie foods, in my diet to even better tasting lower fat, lower calorie foods. I am 58 and I have no cartilage in my knees so Elect Wellness designed a water aerobics program, custom-made for me! It increased my lung capacity, made me much more fit and allowed me to decrease the number of migraine headaches that I had been having. I just returned from Colorado. I had a wonderful time without my usual problem of tremendous headaches, at that altitude and difficulty breathing. I have never been able to visit that high an altitude without having serious breathing problems!”

Watch the Testimony of One our Frisco Personal Training Success Stories

My name is Angel Clark. I live in Frisco, Texas. I have three boys, I’m a mom, I run a territory, I work very hard and love to spend time with my family.

I wanted to change my body and I wanted to be more healthy and I wanted maybe not so much to lose weight but to just be a little bit stronger and more healthier and I knew I wouldn’t get up in the mornings and go some place. I needed somebody to come to me.

I’ve really enjoyed working with (Katherine). I had the very early shift, I believe it was six o’clock in the morning and that’s really hard. Some mornings you just don’t want to get up and do it and knowing that she was on her way and that she’s just wonderful to work with and she’s just very knowledgeable, very fun, very energetic, it made it worthwhile.

The eating was hard, the eating has been really hard but the logging it, top-of-mind awareness is huge!

When you start thinking about your calorie breakdown and your meals, you have five meals a day and where you want to end up it just makes you more aware of what you’re eating and what you’re putting in your mouth.

My stamina is better. I sleep better at night. I think my eating habits are much better. I never really paid attention when I first started eating. I think I wolfed my food down and then I started trying to enjoy it because there were smaller portions, get it to last longer. Just feeling more alert, stronger, even leaner, it’s the whole package. It’s perfect!

I’d say definitely do it! It’s worth the money, it’s worth the investment that health wise it’s huge. Making yourself more productive and as far as trying to eat and learn things about right foods, right time, what to stay away from like caffeine, things like that, it’s knowledge that you take with you no matter what you do, where you go. You always have it so it’s just to the betterment of you!

Why Frisco Needs In Home Personal Training Services

Frisco has a weight problem. Being the home of great restaurants like Kenny’s Burger Joint, Stacks Smoke & Tap House, La Hacienda Ranch and Mash’d probably doesn’t help. Furthermore, what do residents like to do after eating? Well, sit a bit more during a movie at either Cinemark Frisco Square or AMC Stonebriar of course. Fortunately, a variety of fitness gyms such as Koko Fit Club, Pod Exercise and Performant Fitness try to offset the problem. But are they really helping? The local hospitals Centennial Medical Center and Premier One Emergency Center are certainly not hurting for business. Yet the major diseases that bring people there are supposed to be preventable through healthy lifestyle. Speaking of business, most of it in Frisco is done from a cubicle inside multi-office complexes. Certainly, sitting all day in Frisco Square or Legacy Town Center would contribute heavily to complications that arise from inactivity.

Between office hours, one can find plenty of great places to exercise in Frisco, even outside of the gyms. You can be very active at Lone Star Ranch Trail, Griffin Parc Trail or Caddo Trail. They offer great settings for walks, jogs, and biking. Yet that doesn’t seem to be enough to positively effect the fitness of Frisco residents. What is going on? Maybe there are just no healthy food options. That can’t be the case, with places like Aldi offering natural groceries and balanced meals.

Spiritual health seems to be a priority in Frisco. Stonebriar Community Church and Gateway Church are thriving. Yet physical health continues to suffer. Research has shown a relationship between poverty and health problems, so maybe that’s at play. However, the median household income of Frisco residents is $111,687, well above the national average.

It boils down to priorities. And with such a fast-paced and family-packed life, Frisco residents find it hard to take care of themselves while trying to care for everyone else. They need structure, but not in a burdensome way that adds to an already hectic schedule. They rather need a convenient solution. Not “pop-a-pill for 3 months, lose 5 pounds, and leave me feeling terrible” convenient, but something that will impact lasting positive change. Yes, convenient needs to be miraculously paired with comprehensiveness. It’s tough to do, but our years of experience in Frisco, offering personal training and nutrition coaching, have grown into a home-delivered service that actually works. How about that for a change?
