Tamara Reclaims Pre-Pregnancy Body at Home while Her Baby Sleeps

My name is Tamara and I’m 33.  I work at a corporation in Dallas.  I have a family, I have a one-year-old son and I’m married!

So I’ve always been pretty thin but I haven’t ever had a regular exercise routine ever in my life and after having him I was never able to get back down to my weight pre-pregnancy.

Work, Family, Health Balance…

He gets up pretty early.  He goes to bed pretty early, around 7:00 or 7:30 and so a gym after work wasn’t an option or I wouldn’t have seen him at night so I think having an in-home solution where they come here was perfect.

Her personal trainer:

The trainer that I had was incredible and just from the very beginning just really guided me through the exercises, the routines and worked with my pace but then also challenged me.

The first training session I literally almost passed out but I may have been I just hadn’t eaten a whole lot that morning but so I just think the lack of cardio that I had and that’s definitely improved.

A big factor of her success…

The nutrition helped a lot; having that component, it was huge.  She’s good!  I almost did just the training without the nutritional and I’m so glad I did the nutritional.  I’ve never been on a program where it’s had that strong nutritional aspect in terms of learning and knowledge.  I think going on a grocery store on a tour was a lot of fun.  It’s changed how we buy and how we eat now.

My husband wasn’t enrolled in this program but it’s changed his eating habits just kind of by default so he’s also benefited.

I have a lot more energy.  I have better posture I think.  I can get into my cloths.  Actually had to get ten pairs of pants tailored so I could fit in them again but, you know, I think that’s just the biggest change just feeling good about yourself, having people come up to you and even though the weight-loss wasn’t huge I think that the toning and the body fat lost is really what I think was the most impactful and I lost 12% in body fat.

So at work they’ll come up to me and they’ll be like you are so thin, what have you done and so I’ll tell them!

Tamara’s final thoughts…

And just I’m happy with how I look now and happy having the energy level and I just know in three months it does – it takes motivation, you have to be consistent with it.  It’s worth it.  It’s definitely worth it.

Everybody that’s – everybody I’ve worked with is extremely nice, extremely helpful, extremely knowledgeable and it’s really a team effort in helping somebody get to their goals and get to the next level.
