About Robert Thorsell, NPTI-CPT
Robert (Bob) Thorsell enjoyed an active childhood growing up in Ohio, where he fell in love with the outdoors, and also developed a passion for practicing martial arts. To this day, he loves hiking trails almost as much as a good Bruce Lee movie. He continued to be active throughout his teen years, playing basketball at Highland High School, from which he graduated in 1990. After finishing college with an associate’s degree in real estate, and experiencing many of his days trapped “in the office” however, it seemed that physical movement was tough to come by. Bob desired to regain the healthy life full of exercise & activity he once enjoyed, and decided that he would also help others reach their full physical potential through making time to work on themselves. He searched for an intensive personal training certification program that would provide additional knowledge to what he had learned from his own experience in the gym and through sports training. He found what he was looking for in NPTI, and earned his personal training certification in 2008 through the National Personal Training Institute by successfully completing a 500 hour, 6 month course filled with both academic and hands-on learning. Bob understands the challenges of work/life balance, and has a sincere passion for seeing his clients overcome obstacles and succeed by meeting their fitness goals. He pushes people to do what it takes to make the body they want and the good health they desire a reality.
