FAQ

  • Do I need to own or buy fitness equipment?
    • No, we will bring all necessary equipment with us, each and every visit. However, we can work in your own equipment too, if you already have a home gym you wish to use.
  • How much space do I need in my home?
    • You only need about 5 feet by 5 feet worth of room. We can even train you in your yard or garage if you wish. Most of our clients simply push a coffee table to the side, resulting in plenty of room.
  • Can you really challenge me enough with just the equipment you bring?
    • Most of our clients are thoroughly surprised at the challenges we are able to provide with the equipment we transport. Free weight training is more challenging than machine training, as you must stabilize and control every aspect of each movement. Although most clients do not need it, we can bring adjustable dumbells that go up to 60 lbs per hand. Combining that kind of weight with movements that challenge balance and coordination, we have not yet had a client that needed or wanted more. Single-limb movements can also be used for more advanced clients. For example, if needed, you could be performing a 1-legged squat while holding 120 lbs. Of course, this level of intensity is saved for only those who are ready to perform and able to benefit from it.
  • Isn’t home-delivered personal training expensive?
    • Personal training anywhere is not cheap by any means. Gyms and studios will typically charge anywhere from 50.00-100.00 per session. What is even more costly, however, is not getting what you pay for: professional information, motivation, accountability, and most importantly, results. If you actually get these attributes, the benefits of personal training far outweigh the costs of not getting in great shape. You will find our prices very comparable to that of gyms and studios, who offer far less comprehensive and convenient services.
  • I am very busy and travel often. Will I forfeit sessions if I have to miss some appointments?
    • No, we do everything in our power to work around your busy schedule. If you must reschedule a 10am appointment to 3pm, if we are able to do it, we will reschedule you, and without penalty. If you normally train Mondays and Thursdays, but need to switch to Tuesday and Friday for the week, we will make it happen for you. If you are on a 2x per week plan and must leave town for a week, we will simply train 3x the week prior and 3x the week following. We are in business to fit the benefit of having a healthy body into your busy life! The only way you would ever forfeit sessions would be to make absolutely no attempt to work with us, or pull complete no-show, no-calls.
